Over 40 Island Nominations for Prestigious Awards

Over 40 nominations for companies and individuals from the Isle of Man have been shortlisted in this year’s International Investment Awards.

The awards are now in their 24th year, the longest running event of its kind. There are over 30 categories covering the full spectrum of the industry from Fintech to IMPI, and trusts to private banking.

Island-based nominees appear in many categories including ‘Best ESG/Sustainability Fund’, ‘Best Fintech Innovation’ and ‘Best International Pension Plan’.

The Isle of Man as a whole has been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Best International Finance Sector’ award.

Finance Isle of Man have been shortlisted for ‘Excellence in Innovation within International Finance Centres’ and ‘International Campaign of the Year’. Two Finance Isle of Man team members have been shortlisted for awards, Simon Pickering for ‘Personality of the Year (Industry)’ and Dina Hill for the ‘Unsung Hero of Year (Industry)’ award.

Simon Pickering, Head of Insurance and Pensions at Finance Isle of Man said; “The number of nominees from the Isle of Man is a testament to the strength of the financial sector we have here. The breadth and depth of the industry we have on the Island is truly world-class. It is great to see so many Island-based companies and individuals recognised in these prestigious awards and I hope to see plenty of winners on October 12th.”
