Appleby Isle of Man Receives Top Rankings for FinTech Work

Appleby Isle of Man has been ranked Band 1 for the firm’s work in the fintech sector in the 2023 edition of the Chambers and Partners FinTech Guide.

Appleby is the only Isle of Man law firm to be recognised by the leading industry directory in the fintech sector.

Appleby Partner Claire Milne was individually recognised as a Band 1 lawyer in the guide, whilst Counsel Katherine Garrood was also featured as an Associate to watch.

The Isle of Man team is noted for handling a ‘significant caseload of cross-border payment law and regulatory work for the island’s e-gaming sector’ in client feedback.

In addition to the Isle of Man office, Appleby’s British Virgin Islands, Guernsey, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Jersey offices also achieved Band 1 and Band 2 rankings in the 2023 guide, with six lawyers ranked in total.
