PwC Isle of Man launch undergraduate placement year

Professional services firm PwC Isle of Man has announced the launch of a new 11-month placement for students who need to complete an industry placement as part of their undergraduate degree starting in September 2023.

The placement will offer a student with Manx worker status a unique opportunity to gain experience at a leading on-island professional services firm. Working alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals in the audit department the placement offers a student the opportunity to learn about PwC’s business and get exposure to a wide range of clients.

Nicholas Halsall, Territory Senior Partner at PwC Isle of Man stated: “We are excited to be launching this opportunity for an undergraduate student to complete their placement year on the Island. Nothing can beat on-the-job experience for personal development and this placement offers plenty of it, both within PwC and with our clients. 

“Audit offers a diverse career working with wide-ranging businesses and industries, gaining this commercial acumen early on and professional confidence will make a real difference to anyone's future career post-graduation. The successful candidate could be offered a position to join our graduate training programme to study towards a professional accountancy qualification at the end of the placement.”
