Finance Isle of Man welcomes new Business Development Managers

Finance Isle of Man is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Preskey and Stephen Oliver as new Business Development Managers. The newly established roles will be instrumental in delivering our objective to support the promotion and growth of our financial and professional services sector.
 
They will provide support to local businesses and function as their principal point of contact in respect of promotional activity, business development, and co-ordination of cross government support. This level of liaison with individual businesses and trade bodies will help co-ordinate Industry views to inform Finance Isle of Man and wider IoM Government strategic plans.
 
Nick joins our team from Locate Isle of Man, and prior to that his roles have included being the  CEO of a licensed trust service provider, Group Treasury manager for a larger international insurance company and the manager of an exempt fund. Nick is a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Bankers and  is an active committee member of the London Institute of Banking and finance. His prior time in the financial services sector will enable him to build on the relationships and connections that he has made over the years and will complement our already extensive portfolio of stakeholders and contacts. 
 
Stephen joined the Department after 13 years working in the private sector for a leading life insurance company in a wide variety of roles. With several years of experience in leading and delivering solutions for a diverse range of International and Domestic Corporate customers, he has also spent the most recent two years of his career based in the Middle East with a focus on product and business development. Stephen will be working with a portfolio of businesses in our increasingly varied sector to achieve the optimum outcomes for Industry.
