Top Tier Rankings for Appleby Isle of Man in Chambers UK 2024

Leading offshore law firm Appleby Isle of Man has been described as having “an excellent, strong team who are well qualified and experienced. They are always available and willing to go above and beyond” in the 2024 edition of the Chambers and Partners UK Guide.

The law firm received Band 1 rankings across its Corporate and Finance; Dispute Resolution; and Employment practice areas with five lawyers gaining individual recognition.

Commentary and feedback in this year’s guide includes the Isle of Man’s Corporate practice being described as “the largest and most dominant firm on the island by a reasonable margin”, while the office’s Dispute Resolution lawyers “possess excellent attention to detail and knowledge of the required legislation” and “superb commercial situational awareness”.

The Isle of Man Employment team is considered “very knowledgeable in its field, giving guidance and outcomes for each possible event” and praised for providing “excellent assistance and professionalism”.

Among those individually recognised, three Appleby partners are ranked in Band 1 for their respective practice areas: Mark Holligon in Dispute Resolution, Caren Pegg in Employment and Kyle Sutherland in Corporate & Finance. Three partners also received Band 2 recognition in the latest edition: Caren Pegg and Charles Davies in Dispute Resolution and Juan Thornley in Corporate and Finance.
