Could your organisation offer a summer placement to a local undergraduate student?

The Department for Enterprise is encouraging Isle of Man based organisations to participate in the 2019 STEP Programme, which matches organisations with undergraduates for project-based placements over the summer.

 Placements are due to commence in July and last between 8-12 weeks. Benefits include:

 

  • Enthusiastic undergraduate to support business
  • Excellent value for money (£240 a week)
  • Improved business performance
  • Additional resource to complete a project which may not have otherwise been addressed
  • No employment contracts, tax, NI etc
  • Potential cost savings and additional revenue generation
  • Potential future employees
