Corlett Bolton completes transfer of business

Corlett Bolton & Co has completed a transfer of business with Gelling Johnson Farrant (GJF), one of the oldest legal firms in the Isle of Man.

As of 29th November, GJF transferred its business and associated staff to Corlett Bolton, including Managing Director Elizabeth Parkes, who has become Senior Advocate at Corlett Bolton. Elizabeth commenced training with GJF in 1984 and, after qualifying as an advocate in 1988, has amassed a wealth of experience and a strong reputation in all aspects of Manx legal general practice.

Elizabeth is now principally based in Corlett Bolton’s Peel office, enabling it to be open on much extended basis throughout the working week in addition to the popular evening opening on a Monday, which will be of real benefit for new, existing and transferring clients in the west of the Island.

The addition of Elizabeth to our growing team, will enable us to further build on services to our Island community.

GJF, which until recently operated from its Myrtle Street office in Douglas, offered a comprehensive service in all aspects of general practice, which fits in well with the client services offered by Corlett Bolton.
