Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Appoints New Head of Wealth Management in the Isle of Man

Isle of Man, 2^nd May 2023 - Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies (CGWM), a top ten UK independent wealth management firm by assets under management, has announced the appointment of Tom Richards as Head of Wealth Management in its Isle of Man office.

Tom is an experienced wealth management leader, with over 15 years’ experience working in international financial services.  He joined Canaccord in 2019 following the firm's acquisition of the private client activities of Thomas Miller Investment (IOM) Ltd private clients book of business, where he was Managing Director in the Isle of Man.

Since joining us four years ago he has made a significant contribution to the ongoing success of Canaccord in the jurisdiction.”

After taking up his new role this month, Tom will be responsible for leading Canaccord’s team of the Island’s portfolio managers and stockbrokers, delivering organic business growthand building and promoting the Canaccord brand.

After serving in the Royal Air Force as a commissioned officer and pilot, Tom settled in the Isle of Man with his family in 2007.

Tom assumes his new role from Dermot Hamill who is retiring after a very successful 20 year career with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management.
