PRESS RELEASE FROM BITA - 7 MAY 2019

BITA, the British Irish Trade Alliance, has launched a new chapter on the Island. Brendon Kenny, will chair the new chapter. He said, “It was a wonderful launch of the BITA Isle of Man chapter, completely fitting with the work we have been doing over the years to promote the Island as a great place to locate your business.”

BITA is non-profit making organisation that encourages its members to build relationships to generate business and support their communities through exciting networking, educational and social events.

With chapters in London, Liverpool, Dublin and its new alliances across the USA, BITA’s strong links enable the Isle of Man to be at the heart of it all.

Paul Whitnell, the President of BITA, was on the Island to launch the chapter and he stayed on to enjoy the SCS Golf Day.  Paul said, “From the moment I landed I could tell that BITA IOM was going to be a great success.  BITA’s ethos is ‘People who know people that help people’ and it was wonderful to meet so many businesses willing to engage. During my four days on the Island I really got a sense of the culture and hospitality which resonates with the values, mission and goals of BITA. We are looking forward to growing our relationship with IOM charity; Live At Home”

Brendon added, “I would like to thank 1886 for hosting us and for Sancus and Quinn Legal for their sponsorship to make it a really memorable event”
